Christmas-themed rectangular red and white table runner. This piece is hand-embroidered with cross-stitched technique on panama canvas. It represents the chandelier that is lit every evening during Advent and kept on the window-sill to brighten the dark scandinavian night. Nowadays electrical chandeliers are used instead of candles, still virtually no window in Sweden goes without this iconic item. Size: 64 X 21 / 25 X 8.2 in. Condition: excellent. Proudly picked by LuciA in an antique shop in Malmö.
